About the site and these terms
The website pactmedia.se is operated by PACT Media & Sales AB, company reg. no. 559535-7970, VAT reg. no. SE559535797001, Tomtebogatan 30, 113 38 Stockholm, Sweden, email info@pactmedia.se (“PACT”, “we” and “us”).
These terms apply when you visit and use the site. By using it, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
These terms cover the site only. Collaborations, assignments and advertising purchases are governed by separate agreements, which take precedence should they differ from these terms.
Information, not offers
The site presents PACT, our channels, partners and work. Its content is general information. It is not a binding offer, a quotation or advice.
Figures for things such as reach, audiences, formats and results reflect the situation when they were published and may have changed since. Results from past work are no promise of future results. For current figures and terms, ask us for a quotation.
Intellectual property
The content of the site, including text, images, video, graphics, design, logotypes and source code, is protected by copyright, trade mark law and other intellectual property rights. The rights belong to PACT or to our clients, partners and other rights holders.
PACT and our wordmark are our trade marks. They may not be used without our written permission, and never in a way that could suggest that we work with, sponsor or endorse anyone or anything.
Trade marks, logotypes and campaign material belonging to clients, channels and partners are shown to describe our work and belong to their respective owners. Their appearance here gives you no right to use them.
Permitted use
You may visit the site, read the content and print or save individual pages for your own non-commercial use. You may share links to the site and quote short passages with clear attribution, to the extent copyright law allows.
Any other use of the content requires our written permission. Contact us at info@pactmedia.se if you would like to use something.
Prohibited use
You may not:
- copy, republish, sell or otherwise use the content commercially without our written permission,
- systematically extract content from the site with automated tools, known as scraping, without our written permission,
- use the site or its forms to send spam, advertising, malicious code or unlawful content,
- impersonate anyone else, or submit personal data about someone else without the right to do so,
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or data, circumvent protections against automated submissions or other technical safeguards, or disrupt or overload its operation.
We may restrict or block access for anyone who breaches these terms.
Security vulnerabilities
If you find a security vulnerability on the site, we would be grateful if you told us at info@pactmedia.se and gave us reasonable time to fix it before telling anyone else. Please do not investigate it in a way that could disrupt the site or give you access to other people's data.
Contact form and job applications
When you use our forms, you are responsible for making sure the information you provide is accurate and that you are entitled to provide it. Please do not send sensitive personal data or confidential information we have not asked for.
A message sent through the contact form creates no agreement or commitment for either party.
Applying through the site does not mean we are offering you employment or are obliged to employ you. Advertised positions may be filled or withdrawn without notice.
How we process the personal data you provide is described in our privacy policy.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the site available and working well, but cannot guarantee that it is always available, free of errors or free of viruses and other malicious code. We may change, move or remove content and features at any time, or take the site down temporarily, for example for maintenance.
Links and content from others
The site contains links to, and videos from, services operated by others, such as Instagram, YouTube and other publishers. We are not responsible for their content, availability or handling of personal data, and their own terms apply when you use them. A link does not mean we endorse its content.
Limitation of liability
The site and its content are provided free of charge and as is. We do not guarantee that the content is accurate, complete or current, or that it is fit for any particular purpose.
We are not liable for damage or loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, from reliance on its content or from visiting websites we link to. This applies to both direct and indirect loss, such as loss of profit, loss of data or business interruption.
This limitation does not apply to damage we have caused intentionally or through gross negligence, nor to the extent liability cannot be limited under mandatory law. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your rights under mandatory consumer protection rules.
Personal data and cookies
How we process personal data, and which cookies and similar technologies the site uses, is described in our privacy policy. It also explains how to change your choices.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the site or the law changes. The version published here when you use the site is the one that applies. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
Miscellaneous
If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions are not affected. Our not enforcing a right under these terms does not mean we have waived it.
Governing law and disputes
Swedish law governs these terms and your use of the site.
We would first like to resolve any dispute through dialogue. If we cannot agree, the dispute will be decided by the Swedish general courts, with Stockholm District Court as the court of first instance.
If you are a consumer, this does not limit the protection you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live, or your right in certain cases to bring proceedings there.
